Incoming Staff
The Academy of Applied Studies Belgrade welcomes teaching and non-teaching staff from partner higher education institutions who wish to undertake an Erasmus+ staff mobility period at the Academy.
Incoming staff mobility may be organised as:
- Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA) – for teaching activities at the Academy;
- Staff Mobility for Training (STT) – for professional development activities such as job shadowing, observation, exchange of good practices or other relevant training activities;
- where appropriate, a mobility period may combine teaching and training activities.
The planned mobility should be relevant to the participant’s professional role and agreed in advance with the appropriate department or host contact at the Academy.
Interested staff members should contact the Academy at erasmus@aasb.edu.rs and submit:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV);
- brief motivation letter or statement of purpose;
- confirmation of employment at the sending institution;
- a proposed mobility programme.
For teaching mobility, the proposed programme should include the planned teaching topics and activities. Erasmus+ requires a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week or for any shorter mobility period. If teaching is combined with training during the same mobility period, the minimum teaching requirement is 4 hours per week.
For training mobility, the proposed programme should describe the objectives and planned activities, such as job shadowing, observation, exchange of practices or professional training relevant to the participant’s work.
Once the mobility is agreed, the participant, the sending institution and the Academy of Applied Studies Belgrade must approve and sign the appropriate Mobility Agreement for Teaching or Training before the mobility begins.
The working language of the mobility may be Serbian or English, depending on the planned activities and the agreement with the host department. Where English is used, an appropriate level of English proficiency may be required.
