Goal

Acquiring knowledge about the human environment, the influence of the human being on the environment, as well as the environment on the human being. Attention is paid to the study of the human population, natural resources, pollution problems as well as the impact of various human activities on environmental destruction. The objective of the course is to familiarize yourself with the goal of preventing further degradation as well as to repair the existing state and optimize the use of space in the future by using the achievements of modern science and technology.
The acquired knowledge and ability of students to prevent environmental damage and rehabilitation. In this course, the knowledge is acquired of the basic problems of the study of human ecology and environmental state of the art on methods of investigation using the appropriate methodological procedures in the study of complex ecological system. Self-assessment of the impact and importance of the environment on growth will develop as well as the health status of the human population.

Course Description

Human ecology - definition, subject, task - global problems of today. Ecological aspect of the Earth's origin and life on it. Mutual relationship between man and the environment. The influence of environmental factors on health disorders. Depletion of natural resources, prevention measures. Village ecosystem. Forest ecosystem. Mountain ecosystem. Aquatic ecosystems. Urban ecosystem. Impact of DDD protection on different ecosystems. Environmental study and evaluation methods. Changing the state and quality of ecosystems by anthropogenic impact.
Ecology: concept and division. Historical development of ecology. The branches of ecology. Ecosphere: biosphere and technosphere. Ecosystem (biotope and biocenosis): concept, structure, variability. Energy flow through the ecosystem. Circulation of matter. Relations nutrition (ecological pyramid). Ecological factors: biotic and abiotic. Ecological valence. Changing the state of ecosystem quality.
