Goal

Acquiring knowledge about modern trends in health care and training students to apply the nursing process in different disciplines of nursing.
Students have knowledge of the elements and stages of the nursing process. Students are able to implement the nursing process with assistance.\n

Course Description

The discipline of nursing care. Principles of Nursing. Methods and models in the system of organizing care. Theoretical basis of nursing care process. The emergence and development of the method of nursing process. General characteristics of the nursing process. Stages of the nursing process. Analysis of classical nursing care and care by the nursing care process. Nursing needs and models. Nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems. Planning nursing care, planning elements, and documenting a nursing plan. Nursing program, use of standards in care. Implementation procedures of care, team care, family participation in the implementation of programs of care.
Nursing assessment and Identifying needs of care. Formulation of the nursing diagnosis and collaborative problems, planning care goals and programs of care. The implementation of the planned program of care. Evaluation, evaluation mode. Application of the nursing process to a specific example
